Since 2017, Lorraine Checchi has been helping home buyers and sellers in central Vermont navigate the real estate market with confidence. Specializing in residential properties and land, Lorraine is recognized for her responsiveness, honesty, and diplomacy, earning her the affectionate nickname “Our Vermont Fairy Godmother.”  

Originally from Maryland, Lorraine moved to Vermont in 2015 after years of dreaming about life in the Green Mountain State. She brings a wealth of professional experience to her real estate career, having held executive management roles in Association Management and earning a Paralegal degree from Stevenson University. Her legal background includes work in estate planning, corporate law, and non-profit foundations for a Baltimore law firm.  

In 2011, Lorraine and her husband embarked on an international adventure, living for nearly two years in Südtirol, the German-speaking region of northern Italy, before returning to the U.S. to fulfill their goal of making Vermont home.  Now deeply rooted in her community, Lorraine and her husband continue to cherish Vermont’s welcoming people, stunning natural surroundings, and the unique lifestyle it offers.
